PART-TIME COMPETITION MANAGER

The Cycling Association of Hong Kong, China Limited is organizing UCI Track Cup – Hong Kong　China which will be held in March 2024 in the Hong Kong Velodrome. UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) Track Nations Cup is one of the qualifying race for Paris Olympic Games 2024. Over 350 top riders from some 40 national and UCI teams will attend the event.

The Association is now inviting suitable candidate to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Event Director and Technical Director
  • Organize a track chief and all auxiliary personnel
  • Manage a team of National Commissaire/s and technical officials
  • Oversee distribution of communiqués
  • Ensure a smooth event operation
  • Other tasks and duties as needed to facilitate the event operation
  • Provide technical support to the organizing committee

Contract period is offered up to 31 March 2024

Requirements:

  • Working experience in international track cycling events
  • In depth knowledge in track cycling is a must
  • Experience of working with International Technical Officials is a definite advantage
  • Ability to handle project independently with proficient event management skills
  • Demonstrated strong leadership
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Qualified National Commissaire in Track Cycling is preferred.
